A truck hit the outside awning and caused damaged inside and outside. We removed the canopy, repaired the door header, patched the sheetrock wall, repaired ceiling grid, ceiling tiles, textured and painted sheetrock. We patched stucco and painted to match existing color and installed new custom fabricated awing.

Valtex was asked to help Bartlett Cocke General Contractors erect two (2) 8,000 SF PEMB’s and install a retrofit MBCI Nuroof system to existing school building. Pfluger’s architect designed the buildings with “Sag N Bag” insulation with special clips and a detail oriented trim work. This project faced issues regarding the delivery of the metal buildings, components missing, and shortage of trim work. Valtex help Bartlett Cocke procure all missing items and was forced to work an accelerated schedule with two crews erecting both building simultaneously to alleviate the schedule crunch. Valtex worked alongside many other subcontractors to ensure that we didn’t cause any issues with piping, HVAC ducting, and electrical lines. We completed the project in 11 weeks two weeks shy of the goal.

Valtex erected a 70,000 SF pre-engineered metal building with SSR roofing panels and insulated wall panels. Valtex also erected 35,000 pre-engineered metal building with thermal block insulation and layered over SSR roofing panels. We installed customized vent openings for roof curbs to allow proper ventilation for warehouse employees. Due to the quick pace in the project, the owner requested for Valtex to complete inside build out of the offices for the warehouse manager. Valtex completed the project 2 weeks ahead of schedule.

Express Containers contacted Valtex to do a design-build truck wash station with office build out. The project was a 8000 SF building with custom trench leading to a designed waste water sump. Valtex raised the elevation of the building 3' to prevent any potential flood damage and placed 8 custom ramps with rolling curbs. Valtex laid a 3' CMU base wall around the interior of the tank wash to prevent any deterioration of the metal building.

One of our longest standing customer Jindal Saw USA contacted us to lead a turnkey project for a specialized foundation pit with customized metal building to enclose a pipe coating shop. Valtex designed, fabricated, and installed all structural members and pipe process equipment. The challenging part of the project was the specialized sump pit inside the building due to the loads, vibration of equipment, and depth of the pit. Placement of concrete of the sump pit and foundation of the project was handled without delay helping our customer to meet deadlines for product shipment.

JE Dunn contacted Valtex to handle the erection of the Cemo Hall. Valtex was faced with a tight work schedule of 2½ months during the summer of 2011 and a minor budget deficit. After a productive meeting and establishment of milestones Valtex erected a 34,000 SF two-story building. Valtex then installed a standard decking throughout the building and were praised by JE Dunn for timeliness of completing the project and was asked to perform extra work on custom handrails within the building.

Bagby Park was a challenging and unique project for Valtex Construction. The scope of work consisted of fabricating/installing ~250 LF of steel fencing with a custom 932 SF steel building, and custom walkways in between the water fountains. We were challenged by time constraints, heavy traffic flow, no lay-down area, and engineering changes. Valtex managed to finish the project in the a timely manner and the owner was ecstatic with the results.

Valtex removed and excavated ~24,000 SF of 6" concrete parking lot for Trulite Glass Aluminum. This project was performed in 3 phases due to limited empolyee parking. During the excavation process, an abandoned water line was found and burst causing the site to flood. However, with proper management and quick action Valtex was able to cap the line while pumping the water out. Also Valtex fixed the damaged catch basins by raising the grating cap and placed high setting rapid mix to strenghten existing basin. Valtex placed stablized mix for subgrade and 8" 4000 psi concrete for entire parking lot and stripped the parking lot.
